Alan Freedman

We wish to inform you that the roles of Choir Chairman and Musical Director, currently both undertaken by David Druce for over 20 years, have now been split.

We are pleased to announce that Alan Freedman has been appointed as our Musical Director.

David Druce remains as Chairman and will continue to focus on other aspects of the choir together with the Executive Committee.

Alan Freedman is an accomplished and experienced musical director of many years standing as conductor of the Hendon United Synagogue Choir.

 Alan said

” I am thrilled and delighted to be taking over from David as your new conductor. We all have so much to thank David for. Over the 22 years of his wise stewardship, the choir has gone from strength to strength. Now he has handed over the baton to me, I will be looking to continue that trend, and to do all I can to bring out the very best in our choir and in the music we do.”
